A man has died from his injuries after a crash near Yass on Saturday, October 22.

About 7.30am on Saturday, October 22, a 40-year-old man was driving a white Mitsubishi Lancer north along the Hume Highway, Bowning (about 15km north west of Yass), when the vehicle left the road and hit a tree.
Witnesses went to the assistance of the driver, before he was treated by Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.
Police received information from the Australian Federal Police, that the man died in Canberra Hospital on Sunday, October 23.
Officers from The Hume Local Area Command continue to investigate the crash and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
