An array of local people and visitors enjoyed the ambiance of the late afternoon, flowers in full bloom, sweeping lawns, sculptures, live music, food and wine.
Bronwyn Baker and Bob Teasdale generously allowed Yass branch of Red Cross to host this function in their beautiful garden and it was lots of fun for all those in attendance.
Raising much needed funds to support the ongoing work of Red Cross locally.
- Joy Cavenagh
“It was a great success financially, raising much needed funds to support the ongoing work of Red Cross locally, and within Australia and the wider world,” organiser Joy Cavenagh said.
As the afternoon shadows lengthened the lovely music of Emily Parker, Ashley Parker and Isobel, who’s generously provided entertainment for the day.
The tunes carried through into the evening with two other entertainers Susan Higgie, John Schofield and Trish.
The food was supplied by the Red Cross members and the local wine by Dennis Hart from the local Dog Trap Vineyard.
The lucky winner of the lovely garden sculpture which was made and donated by Bob Teasdale, was Gloria Carlos.
