The car rolled and came to rest in a paddock.
The man suffered a laceration on his arm and was treated at the Yass Hospital.
The car required towing.
Police checks revealed the man held a Learner driver’s licence and he was driving unaccompanied.
He was fined for unaccompanied Learner driver driving without supervision and negligent driving.
The 27-year-old was also issued a suspension notice for three months.
SPEEDING ON THE BARTON HIGHWAY
A 29-year-old woman from Canberra was detected driving 126km/h on the Barton Highway at 4pm on Sunday, December 4.
Police stopped the woman’s car and she was issued a fine for driving more than 20km/h over the speed limit.
The woman was also drug tested, returning a positive result to an illicit substance.
The sample was sent away to the NSW Forensic and Analytical Science Service at Lidcombe for further analysis.
CHILD APPROACH AT GUNDAGAI
Police have charged a man following an alleged child approach at Gundagai.
Just after 8pm on Tuesday, November 29, a 15-year-old boy was riding his scooter home along O I Bell Drive, Gundagai, when he was approached by a man driving a Nissan Patrol.
Police have been told the man allegedly started to speak to the boy and offered him a ride.
The boy declined and as he attempted to walk away, the driver allegedly tried to lure the boy into the vehicle on several more occasions.
Officers attached to Cootamundra Local Area Command were contacted and commenced an investigation.
Following inquiries, officers attended a venue on Park Road, Luddenham and arrested a 60-year-old man.
He was taken to Penrith Police Station and charged with intimidation.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on Wednesday, January 12.
