For weeks now four vans bearing photographs of a Sydney businessman emblazoned with false accusations that he is a "corporate thief" and a "fraudster" have been turning up outside an office block in Bligh Street.

Not only is the prestigious CBD block the corporate headquarters of renewable energy businessman David Singh, it also houses the Sydney office of Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. The PM's security team has regularly asked the vans to move on.
The man behind the vans is Adam Kazal, an undischarged bankrupt and debt collector, whose family owns a string of bars and restaurants in The Rocks and Circular Quay.
Mr Kazal has been running what the courts have heard is a malicious campaign accusing Mr Singh and another businessman Rodric David of stealing $180 million from the Kazal family.
Mr Singh has vehemently denied the accusations, which have appeared on the vans and on posters throughout the eastern suburbs where he lives.
On Tuesday, Mr Singh obtained an injunction in the Federal Court ordering Mr Kazal to remove the offending material from the vans.
The court heard the allegations, which were described as malicious, stemmed from a business dispute that played out in a court in the Cayman Islands in 2011 and that was not settled to the Kazals' satisfaction.
Justice John Griffiths also ordered Mr Kazal's brother Charif to remove defamatory material about Mr Singh from the Kazals' website, a link to which appears on the vans.
Charif Kazal has previously been found to be corrupt by the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
On 14 November, Mr Singh's wife Belinda obtained an interim apprehended violence order to stop Adam Kazal and his vans from parking outside her Point Piper home and from driving the vans around her son's school.
The following day Adam Kazal sent an email to Fairfax Media complaining that Mrs Singh was hampering his right to free speech by restraining him from coming within 100 metres of the Singhs' house.
"She claims in her AVO application I have made defamatory comments about her husband David Singh. If that is true, then why doesn't he sue me for defamation instead of hide (sic) behind his wife's skirt?
"My vans will continue to expose this scum living in his $50 million home purchased with money stolen from my family," wrote Mr Kazal.
Just how Mr Kazal is paying for the vans remains a mystery as he was bankrupted in 2011. Because he has failed to file a statement of affairs he will remain a bankrupt indefinitely.
Adam Kazal will face a contempt of court hearing on Friday over allegations that he has failed to comply with earlier orders to remove similar allegations against Mr David.
For years Mr Kazal has been waging a war of words against Mr David, son of grocery tycoon John David. The feud escalated when Mr David gave evidence against Charif Kazal at a 2011 corruption inquiry.
The corruption watchdog found Charif Kazal had paid for a lavish trip for a senior public servant with the expectation it would advance the family's business interests in The Rocks.
Charif Kazal was unsuccessful when he appealed to the Supreme Court to overturn his corruption finding.
As of late Wednesday the defamatory material about Mr Singh and Mr David still appeared on the Kazals' website.
