Some outstanding scores were recorded at the Yass Golf Club’s events on Saturday–Sunday, January 14–15. On Saturday, it was Graham Fleming’s turn to shine, with an excellent 46 points, or equivalent to one over, to take the win by five points from Callan Kemp and Jarrod Porter, the nearest competitors in the A grade. In B grade, Michael Walker’s 38 points was one better than what Gerard Kerin and this month’s Guzzler – Craig McDermott – could manage. In the Super Sunday Stroke event, it was Mark Partridge who prevailed with his 63 Net to take the win by one shot over Robby Furner. Furner did, however, have an excellent round shooting a one-under par and picking up a cool hundred in the super pin.
