Juniors tennis players enjoyed the first hitout session of the year at the Summer Tennis Camp, hosted by the Hume Tennis Club on Monday–Wednesday, January 23–25. Coach Scott Eulenstein said the camp coincides with the Australian Open. He said the camp aimed to introduce tennis to children and generate their interests in the game. “It’s been popular, we have about 50 kids today,” he said on Monday. The camp involved warmups and basic drills.
