Hall has become part of Australian folklore as arguably the most prolific and wanted bushranger in Australia’s history, in terms of his activity and criminal record.
He and his gang roamed mid-western NSW, bailing up coaches and stealing from the rich squatters - even holding entire towns to ransom.
The film ‘The Legend of Ben Hall’ reveals him as a romantic figure - a man torn between his desire to be good and his criminal tendencies.
Saturday, February 18, the film will be shown on a three-story outdoor screen at the Binalong Golf Club, kicking off at 3pm with live music, poetry and even a mechanical bull.
There will be a slip and slide, open mic for musicians, fresh roasted coffee and donuts, pop corn, BBQ, and meals will be available in the club as well. The film starts at 8.30pm when the sun goes down.
Tickets are $15 entry, or $40 a family, contact 6227 4428 to get your tickets today.
