Gregory & McCarthy Partner Paul Twohill said his firm was attracted by the level of support provided by the network.
“Our clients are going to benefit greatly from the strengths and skills of network members and staff,” he said.
“With 19 member firms across Australia, New Zealand and now into Southeast Asia, the resources and skills we can access are significant through some 600 staff and 75 Partners or Directors. We will gain through assistance with our growth plans and marketing.”
Mr Twohill said the decision to join the network followed years of affiliation with Walker Wayland network member YBM in Orange.
“We have attended practice management seminars with the YBM team every year for many years. Dubbo firm Ferrari Gardner, who joined the Walker Wayland network last year, also attends these meetings.”
Mr Twohill said an important aspect of the Walker Wayland group is its network structure.
Unlike some other mid-tier accounting groups, we remain an independently-owned firm but with significantly greater resources and support.
