The Yass Pony Club had a contingent of riders performing at the Royal Canberra Show. Harry Scarlett, Joe Walsh, Keely Owen and Olivia McHugh represented Yass against regional teams. All had extremely big classes of up to 27 riders. Keely and Olivia paired up and rode well. Harry and Joe, with little practice, rode their pairs and did a great job being the only boys pair out in the ring.

The fours was awesome; the riders had to trot out and then split into pairs and do circles to the left and right before coming back together to form a section. They had to work together and talk to get horses to stay together, then the tricky part: left rein and canter half circle back to the judge. The riders stayed together and did a perfect halt to finish the workout, all done with only one practice.
