Despite the damp conditions at the Leo Buckmaster Arena on Saturday, March 25, the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Bullride put on a show for spectators, who packed the stands and vantage points around the arena.

Securing the title of champion on the night was Queenslander Budd Williamson. The man from Ayr, with a world ranking of 63, scored 172.5 – narrowly ahead of Cliff Richardson on 170.5, who was the best NSW competitor.
Meanwhile, Australia’s reigning champion professional bull rider Cody Heffernan, who flew in from the US to compete at the Yass show, finished sixth with a score of 83.5.

Earlier in the day, the precursor to the PBR Bullride was the Yass Corporate Team Yarding competition.
