Blowing Up Balloons (BUB) celebrates making babies, having babies and being a parent. The poems invite readers to share the joys of parenthood and to recall the wonder of their own childhood. BUB is a great gift for parents.
BUB will be launched by Owen Bullock, author of four collections of poetry. Owen has also recently submitted his thesis for a PhD in creative writing at the University of Canberra. Gregory and Vanessa will both read from BUB and sign copies at the launch.
Tootise's, at 289 Comur Street, is a colourful venue so come along early and enjoy their hospitality. The launch will begin at 2pm and admission is free. Further details of the event can be found at www.gregorypiko.com.
