Whole histories: keeping the stories alive, April 7: Hosted by the Yass and District Historical Society, this seminar will discuss the recording of history in the digital age. Set for 12.30pm at St Clements Retreat and Conference Centre, Galong NSW.

Murrumbateman Village Markets, April 8: Local produce and local craft on sale at the Murrumbateman Recreation Grounds. At 9am–1pm.

Yass Family Fun Day, April 8: The inaugural event of its kind in Yass, it is set to raise funds for local charity Maya’s Rest. Activities for children and adults, as well as an inflatable movie. At 3pm–9pm. Tickets are $5 each for kids, $10 for adults and $25 for family.

Haulin’ the Hume, April 8–9: The Western Sydney Historical Truck Club will hold their fourth bi-annual road rally where a collection of privately owned historic vehicles will travel Sydney to Yass via the Old Hume Highway (Highway 31). More: http://bit.ly/2owo5mU.
