The annual Sheep Show and Country Fair will be held this Saturday, April 22 at the Bookham Hall and grounds.

This is an important fundraising opportunity for our two organisations – Bookham Red Cross and Hospital Auxiliary.

Lots on offer

A delicious barbecue, Devonshire teas, drinks, cake and produce table will be on offer.

There will be something of interest for all ages, with various stalls, bric-a-brac and the Rotary Jumping Castle and Face Painting to entertain the children.

Art and competition

The art and sculpture exhibition, photography competition and vegetable/fruit competition inside the Hall are always popular attractions as well.

Shearing and sheep

This year the Agricultural Bureau have reinstated the shearing competition.

The sheep judging will commence at 9am followed by the junior judging prior to lunch.

Something new

A new attraction this year will be a display and information on seven different white cockatoos – from WA and the NT.

We look forward to enjoying a beautiful Autumn day at Bookham this Saturday, April 22.
