Two drivers were hospitalised on the weekend after their cars came off the road in separate incidents over Easter.

On late Friday evening a 75-year-old Young man was driving East along the Hume Highway before his car overturned after leaving the road.

He was hospitalised with minor injuries before being released from Yass hospital a short time later.

A 27-year-old Duffy driver came off Yass Valley Way and collided with a tree on Sunday evening at 10:35pm.

The Yass fire brigade attended the scene, along with police and paramedics, to address concerns of fuel leakage.

The man was admitted to Yass hospital overnight with minor injuries before being released the next morning.

Yass police collected blood samples from both drivers and said they expected any results to come back within a month.
