Families can go along to meet the firefighters and have a behind-the-scenes look at the station.
Equipment will be on display, and kids will have a chance to look over the machines, and possibly even have the chance to use a hose.
Firefighters will also be available to provide advice on installing or replacing smoke alarms, and preparing a home fire plan.
Deputy captain Pete Green encouraged kids and adults alike to attend.
“Tell the kids to come along, there’ll be lots of goodies for them. We’ll also have demonstrations of cars and we’ll be spraying water, so come to the station and sit in the truck,” he said.
Children will also be able to take home a ‘Brigade Kids’ activity booklet, which teaches them vital fire-safety lessons. A sausage sizzle will be held on the day.
