The first division had nine pairs competing. This division was won by a very strong pair of Anthony Frost and Andrew Hansen (pictured).
Frost travels from Crookwell each week as do other players who come from Yass, Grabben Gullen, Bellmount Forest, Cullerin and the local areas of Gunning and Dalton.
Closely behind by two points was Frank Hannan and Beth Baines, followed by Ben Burden and Sue Lanham, Jack Medway and Damien Hannan, James Roche and Simon Lanham, Janne Burden and Ken Hewitt, Kaye Ferraris and Michael Hannan, Jenny Saul and Tom Roche and Graham Baines and Maree Roche.
In the second division, there were seven pairs and lots of lovely juniors playing very good tennis in this group.
Winners were Phillip Luck and Penny Leah with Will Luck and Kahlie Bush closely followed by Carolyn and Josh Hannan. Next were Ned Jones and Reuben Lees, Kelly Dowling and Bec Hewitt, Angus Kemmis and lots of reserves, then Jake Waters and Ben Luck.
For those who would like a hit of tennis over the next few months, social tennis will be held at the Gunning tennis courts on the first Saturday of each month commencing at 1pm (first Saturday was May 6).
This will be for any standard of tennis and we would love to see some new faces join our club.
