GUNNING
FOLLOWING the clash between the Gunning Roos and the Crookwell Green Devils this Saturday, everyone is encouraged to converge on the Roos’ major sponsor, the Telegraph Hotel for its annual cancer fundraiser from 4.30pm. There will be plenty of raffles so get your bidding arms warmed up. Later from 7pm there will be karaoke for all those aspiring songsters!
A VITAL part of any rural community is its rural fire brigade and ours is celebrating its 85th anniversary with a dinner on Saturday, September 2 at the Old Coach Stables restaurant. NSW RFS Long Service Medals for recognition of dedication and service will be presented on the night by Rob Rogers AFSM and Peter Alley.
