Thirty nine shooters were greeted by a cracker of a frost at the Yass Clay Target Club’s competition on July 16 for the 100-target championship. Shooters from Goulburn, Cowra, Tumut, Wagga Wagga, Sydney and even the Northern Territory attended.

Competition was challenging, but with an exceptional score of 196/200, Keith Beddie took the honours as overall champion for the day. Samuel Dun, one of the junior shooters, performed exceptionally in C grade where 11 shooters contested the prize.
It came down to a 20-target shoot-off where Dempsey Farrell-Gray won with a score of 164/220. Congratulations to all of the winners.
The next competition at Stoney Creek will be on Sunday August 20 at 10am. The program will consist of 25-target point Score, 50-target double barrel and 25-target single barrel. We look forward to seeing you there.
