National Gardening Week Celebration
National Gardening Week Celebration at Yass Community Garden, 19 Pritchett Street, Yass, 2-4pm. It's National Gardening Week and we're going to look at using recycled containers to start seedlings. Bring along some rubbish from your kitchen (eg meat trays, egg cartons, yoghurt containers, soft drink bottles) and we'll show you how to use them to start seedlings for summer. Gold coin donation only and you get to go home with some planted seeds to grow on at home. Gundaroo Music Festival

Greendale anniversary
Greendale Uniting Church will be celebrating their 155th anniversary on Saturday and Sunday, October 21-22. The fete on Saturday starts at 9am with all the usual stalls and attractions: morning tea, barbecue, lunch and a free jumping castle. Worship on Sunday starts at 10am and will be followed by lunch. Murrumbateman Field Days
The Murrumbateman Fields Days, 8am-5pm Saturday, 8am-4pm Sunday. Now in its 39th year, more than 500 exhibitors from all over Australia come together to display their products and services from the latest farm machinery, equipment and services to the best in local wines, produce and crafts. Visitors can enjoy the Yass Antique Farm Machinery displays, exhibits of local produce, entertainment and children’s rides as well as the special children’s farmyard. So bring the whole family to the annual Murrumbateman Field Days for a weekend full of fun.
Garage Sale Trail
Garage Sale Trail is a grassroots idea to get as many garage sales going across Australia on the one weekend to encourage reuse, celebrate creativity and see local people come together.
