What was the occasion for?
The choir is an annual one and the third one so far. The 2017 included summer songs, hence its name.
Who was involved?
As well as Maisie’s Choir – who are Yass based – the concert also included Dante Musica Viva Choir from Canberra, who performed Italian songs alongside Maisie’s Choir.
Conductor Francesco Sofo led Dante Musica Viva Choir during the event.
Both choirs filled the hall with combined voices to celebrate summer and song.
Anyone behind the scenes?
The Yass Interact and Rotaract clubs were involved in catering the event. The event was arranged by Southern Tablelands Arts.
