The day got off to a great start with all and sundry wishing young Bob Churchill all the very best for the 59th anniversary of his 21st birthday.
Although Bob did not win any event prizes, he scored a tremendous Lemon Meringue birthday cake and plenty of kisses from the lady folk.
The Ray Smith Memorial Double Rise Shield is always a tightly contested event and this year was no different.
Ray Smith was a long-term member and a greatly admired club man who loved shooting double rise.
The club has no doubt that he would have appreciated adjudicating over this year’s contest yet again.
The club thank all who contributed to making the shoot a success once again.
