Yass will be looking to bounce back after the last round saw a disappointing loss to Wagga Wagga at Victoria Park, which was the result of some questionable shotmaking according to team member Dan Poidevin.
This weekend, the Yass side will go up against Cootamundra, who were the runners-up in last year’s competition and will be looking for another strong start to the season this weekend.
This weekend’s clash is the second of five rounds of Stribley Shield cricket, and with so few opportunities it is crucial to make the most of every opportunity.
The match against Cootamundra will take place on Sunday at Victoria Park. It will begin at 10:00am sharp and will be played in a 50 over format.
