Yass Valley Council has postponed its outdoor cinema to celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) – the event was set for 6.30pm–9.30pm today.

“After much deliberation it has been decided to postpone tonight's event.
“The forecast is 60 per cent chance of showers, with a thunderstorm at some stage. Winds are predicted to be quite strong at 25–35km per hour and the movie screen cannot be used when winds are above 15 km per hour.
“We will look to set a date in mid to late January 2018, and will keep everyone posted,” the council said in a statement on Facebook.
