The Cowra Rotary Club is reminding residents to get in quick and grab tickets before it’s too late in their Christmas raffle.  Cowra Rotary Club President Ken Harris said the raffle has been running for a few weeks and will be drawn on December 21.  “We have also had the weekly draw of a ham," he said.  “We have already given out six hams and that will continue right through.”  Three major prizes are up for grabs, with the first prize a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) school laptop, a giant bicycle, a slow cooker and a toaster.  Second prize is a BYOD school laptop, giant bicycle, steam iron and a kettle. Third prize is a camp chair, fishing gear, air fryer and a large grill.  Mr Harris said the Club is trying to help parents and students for the coming school year.  “The money raised goes towards our youth programs for the rest of the year,” he said.  The Club have set up a small display at the Bendigo Bank Cowra Agency and will be selling tickets in front of the business on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5.  The Club would like to thank Leading Edge Computers, Cowra Motorcycles, Martin’s Bi-Rite, Compleat Angler and Camping World, Coles, ALDI, Woolworths and Bendigo Bank Cowra Agency.
