This is a varied, new role for a professional with a can-do attitude and a love of wine & the great outdoors to join us as Estate Manager on our vineyard in the exciting wine region of Orange, NSW. This is a role that can be customised to suit candidate skill set & personal development goals but will involve basic estate lawns/grounds maitenance, viticulture and wine sales. Nashdale Lane Wines is a quality- focused vineyard and winery in the heart of Nashdale in Orange, NSW. We are currently seeking an Estate Manager with an interest in wine to join our team and help manage our 15-hectare mature vineyard and additional 8-hectares of property. The role will also encompass on occasion, jumping in to assist at the cellar door with customer-facing wine tastings and bottle sales.
The successful candidate will be working to improve the health of the vineyard, its soils & ecosystem and overall up keep of the estate as well as sell and promote the wines and Nashdale Lane brand. It is a varied role with each day being different – depending on the time of year and vineyard cycle. It will encompass working with the owners and wine making team on the development of new wines, plantings, overall property management & conducting informed cellar door tastings.
It is a new and exciting role that can be customised to best suit a candidates skills and passions while also encouraging personal development and growth.
The ideal candidate should be a logical thinker with good hands-on skills, a strong interest in wine, sustainable viticulture, property management/ horticulture. Mandatory requirements include; strong communication & organisational skills, excellent common-sense & can-do attitude as well as a willingness to work in a beautiful outdoor environment as part of happy, small & hard-working team.
Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid existing Australian work visa.
