The Opportunity

As a developing Substations Technician you will undertake a comprehensive training program while gathering practical and technical expertise in substation electrical work. This includes fault finding, repairs, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of assets within Transgrid’s substations.
As your career progresses, higher grade Substations Technicians develop advanced levels of practical and technical proficiency becoming subject matter experts, providing mentoring and training to Substation Technicians and Apprentices.
All levels of experience will be considered.
