Dad’s Army November 22
A bigger field of 16 of the Dad's Army troops turned out to play the competition last week and some very good scores were handed in.
It would seem that Bernie ‘The Fence Hopper’ Puckett has been out practicing again as his card had a very good score of 22 points on it.
Bernie didn't have it all his own way as he was pushed hard by Ken Burden and John Bewick who both had 21 points.
That score would have won on most days.
Then there was Ken Reidy 19 points, followed by Rod Perceval and Merv Wrighton, both on 18 points.
Scoring ranged this week from 22 down to 13 points.
Good golfing ‘boys’ until next week.
