The weather was warm and the course was a little slower after the rain. It meant the scores were a little higher than what they were last month when Ray McDonald took the prize.
Brady took the prize from Golding on a count back after they both scored 82 off the stick on handicaps of 18.
Bad luck Allan, better luck next year!
On Sunday the Kemp’s dominated the scoring, taking half the balls on offer.
Lachlan took the overall win, with 48 points. He had a 72 off the stick on a 16 handicap. Lachlan will find it a little hard from now on as he managed to lose five shots on his handicap. Great effort Lachlan, hope you play that well this Sunday in the Yass Open.
The open still has available time slots for players who may be interested.
On Saturday we have a two-person ambrose event sponsored by our professional, Kirk Davis.
Then, on Sunday the open starts, which is sponsored by IA and VP Robertson Landscape Supplies.
Luff Motors are contributing a Toyota Yaris to the first hole-in-one on the 15th and Yass Nursery are taking care of the junior open. So members, if you’re not down yet on the timesheet please sign up, if not for anything other than trying to win a Yaris!

The warm weather brought out 18 troops in the Dad's Army competition last week, and the scores reflected the drier conditions. Doug ‘The Ex Cocky’ Oldfield won, with a great score of 21 points.
However, he was pushed hard by Rod Perceval who collected a ball for his fine effort of 20 points. Edgar Mongan and Les Puckett 18 points, Ted Nelson 17 points and Ian Bluett 16 points cleaned up the balls on offer this week. Scoring ranged from 21 down to 10 points.
Good golfing ‘boys’ until next week.
