Kicking off in Harden on Saturday, it was the home town that stole the show, coming away with 382 points.
The turnout was small in comparison with previous years and the night wrapped up earlier than usual, at 7.40pm.
Yass built a score of 202 points, which was hampered by handicap points for the smaller towns. Yass finished last on the table but look to climb the ladder this weekend.
Behind Harden, Jugiong was second with 375 points and Binalong was third, with 239 points.
Yass went a little better in the overall relay result, coming in third.
Yass swimmers that performed strongly included Darcy Bush, Riley Bateup Georgia and Olivia Fairweather, Poppy Rhodes, Daniel Kemp, Stephen and Karina Ashton, Craig Wilkinson, Ally Beck, Hunter and Sarah Gillies, Lucy Prosser and Ben Wylie to name a few.
The next and final Shine Shield meet will take place at Binalong this coming Saturday.
