The evening is being held on a Friday night which will avoid a clash with commitments for the players who have connections with district cricket clubs.
The George Tooke Shield is set to commence on Saturday April 6 and the Brahmans hope to play two trial games before the competition kicks off.
After their hiatus year in 2012, the Brahmans think they are a big chance at the title in 2013, having assembled a strong playing roster for the coming season. Although the Yass Magpies now join the Binalong side for 2013 along with a number of other clubs in George Tooke Shield, President Michael Brayshaw is confident that his team can prevail.
The big opponents will still be Bungendore Tigers, Boorowa Rovers, Harden Hawks and Boomanulla Raiders.
For Rugby League followers, 2013 promises to be an interesting year in Yass Valley Shire. The expanded George Tooke Shield home and away games should attract a lot of interest.
The sign on night will be February 1 at the Binalong Recreation Ground, off Woolrych Street in Binalong at 6pm.
