Around 130 players had registered by mid-week. Many of last year’s contenders are returning, for what is sure to be a great day’s golf.
Last weekend’s winners were well deserved, with Mike Greep, Jamie Roche and Matthew Auld taking out the grades on Saturday.
Matthew Townsend from Murrumbateman took out the prize on Sunday, with an impressive 45 points.
Last week the pennant season started, with the Senior Scratch side defeating Cooma 5.5-0.5 while the Senior Master Handicap side also had an impressive win against RMC 5.5-0.5 on Thursday.
It left both sides on top of their respective tables.
The A Reserve side played Federal at home and recorded a 3.5-2.5 win, while the B Scratch side travelled to Gungahlin to only just go down 2.5-3.5 on Sunday. Well done to all the players who contested. This week the pennant sides have a rest while the Australian Women’s Open is being hosted at Royal Canberra.

Clive Phillips with 20 points and Ian Bluett, Bernie Puckett and Ken Reidy, all with 18 points, collected the balls this week. The scoring ranged from 20 down to 10 points.
