A free volunteer training session will be hosted at Yass Soldiers Memorial Hall on May 10 for interested not-for-profit, community-based organisations that use volunteers to deliver services. Way2Go Training will host the session, which is subsidised by the NSW Department of Family and Community Services for a limited time. Yass Valley Council is supporting the training.

The session is aimed at NSW volunteer managers who have a need to establish, review and/or update management policies, procedures and protocols. It aims to equip volunteer managers with additional knowledge to establish and maintain compliant volunteer-management systems. The session will run at 9.30am–12.30pm.
