Bob is retiring due to ill health and will spend his days with his beloved dogs, cats and horses and travel to see his partner, Lesley Cameron, who is on a short-term work secondment to Townsville.
“I’ve always loved my job, but I can’t give it what it needs anymore. I’ve worked with some great people and I’ll miss them all, but you’ll still see me around,” he said.
Bob first started working at the Trib in 2009 and instantly made the position his own.
“Bob is a fantastic salesman, he has always been the shining sales star in the office. One of Bob’s greatest abilities is to relate to his customers, know their business and be able to offer an advertising solution to suit,” Southern Tablelands sales manager Rosey Stronach said.
Bob will be missed by the Trib team and the wider Yass Valley community and we all wish him well.
