Tuesday, May 16

Bookings are now being taken for our Term 2 Baby Rhymetime sessions that will begin on Tuesday, May 16, starting at 10.30am.

Baby Rhymetime is a four week program for children up to 18 months.

The program includes four 30-minute sessions, using rhymes and songs to introduce your child to the rhythm and rhyme of language.

Handouts of all the songs and rhymes used will be provided.

Bookings are appreciated and can be made by calling the Yass Library on 6226 1305.

Mothers groups are very welcome.


Monday, May 22

Exercise your brain with puzzles and games that improve memory, concentration and problem-solving.

We appreciate brain training can be tiring, so coffee and cake will be provided.

Saturday, May 27

The library’s bargain book sale will begin on Saturday, May 27.

There will be fiction for adults and children as well as non-fiction books and magazines.

Come along and browse. There will be something for everyone. 


The Yass Valley Library will be closed for half a day for staff training from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Tuesday, May 30. 

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Items can be returned via the outside returns chute box next to door at the main entrance.

We will re-open from 12.30pm until 5.30pm for the remainder of the day.

Save the date for lunch in the library at noon on Tuesday, June 6.

Guest speaker will be Geoffrey Robertson from Kosciuszko 2 Coast, a conservation partnership. More information closer to the date.
