The Under-8’s end of season match follows the success of the Northern Barbarians, a team made up of players from Goulburn, Uni-Norths, Gungahlin, and Yass players, who made the finals in their first year in the competition, which is a particularly impressive result considering the depth of talent in their division.
Most Yass teams tasted success this year, and the Under-10’s were no different. They finished fourth in their division with seven wins and five losses among a competitive field.
Despite the difficulties of organising a combined side, the Yass Rosary Combined Under-12’s enjoyed a highly successful year, finishing second in the third grade competition despite hearty competition.
The Yass Rams junior divisions will have enjoyed the success across the board this year, and will be hoping to see more of the same in seasons to come.
