Yass Valley Library Author Talk - Jane Carter, 11am, Yass Library. Join us for morning tea and a chat with Australian author Jane Carter. Jane will be talking about her latest book, 'Prodigal Daughter'...a tale of rural life and family bonds under strain. Free RSVP 6226 1305.
Friday, September 29
A school holiday program for beginner birdwatchers will be led by Tony Saunders, suitable for ages 10 and above (keen 8 and 9 years olds are welcomed). What a great opportunity to introduce youngsters to the wonders of our rich birdlife. Bring binoculars, suitable walking shoes, water bottle, hat and sunscreen and be at the Gunning Library by 10 am finishing at 12.30pm. Wednesday, September 27, Thursday, September 28, Tuesday, October 3, Wednesday, October 4, and Friday, October 5. Yass Riding School, 138 Manton Road, Manton. Kid friendly school holiday activity days, 9am for 9.30am start, lunch somewhere around noon, finish somewhere between 3-4pm. Suitable for children of school age and both new and experiences riders have appropriate activities throughout the programme. $112, bookings of two or more riders together recieve a $10 per day rider discount.

Gymnastics, Monday, September 25; Trampoline, trapeze and tumble, Tuesday, September 26; Free G, Wednesday, September 27; Acrobatics, Thursday September 29; Little Ninjas, Friday, September 29; Karate and boxing, Tuesday, October 3; Archery, Wednesday October 4; Soccer and futsal, Thursday, October 5; and Slap hockey and frisbee, Friday, October 6.
