A meeting of great importance is on Monday, October 9, Gunning Courthouse 7.30pm about the future of suitable and affordable housing for independent seniors in Gunning. It would be a dark day indeed if this worthy aim, with progress made for more than six years, could not be completed whether through Gunning District Community & Health Service or a similar organisation.
Please come to this vital meeting and help find a way forward before the land is sold.
Nominations are open for Council’s 2018 Australia Day Awards for Citizen of the Year; Young Citizen of the Year and Event of the Year. As well as Shire awards there are opportunities for local awards in Crookwell, Gunning and Taralga. Nominations close on Friday, October 20.
