The Yass Polocrosse Club held their end of year Christmas party on the weekend, which had a ‘P’ theme to which the attendees were asked to keep.
They arrived as prisoners, patients, and there was even a pineapple and a panda to be found.
Club member Catherine Bennett said that everyone at the party had a good time and took full advantage of the opportunity to dress up.
“Following our successful year, the party … [wasn’t] put off by rain,” Ms Bennett said.
“The enthusiasm for the costumes in the ‘P’ theme was evident.”
The winner of the award for best costume was Bec and Callum Hughes with daughter Elliot, who all came dressed as prisoners.
Ms Bennett said that the party followed a “fantastic” season, and when asked if everyone had fun, she replied “Oh, yes. We make sure of that.”
