An early Christmas present came in November when three of our Yass Valley Businesses made it to the state finals of the NSW Business Awards – Clementine, Six8 Coffee and Yass Valley Tyre Service.
Congratulations – we are very proud of you, and thank you for putting the Yass Valley even more on the map!!
Speaking of Christmas presents, the tradition of giving gifts to people we love is a wonderful thing – and no doubt many of you are wondering what to buy your loved ones this Christmas.
I have two suggestions:
1) buy a Yass Valley Gift Card, especially for people who don’t live in the Yass Valley, as you will give them another reason to visit; or
2) buy something from one of the many great retail business across the towns and villages of the Yass Valley.
I can vouch for the fact that shopping in the Yass Valley at Christmas time is much more fun and less stressful than going to a massive, busy shopping mall.
We will once again have late night shopping in Comur Street on the last two Thursdays before Christmas – December 14 and 21.
Finally, thank you to all our businesses who have taken to heart the Business Chamber’s mission to “collaborate to invigorate” – we look forward to seeing you again in 2018.
