The relay will now take place across Saturday February 24 and Sunday February 25, 2018. 

The dates were initially set for December 2 and 3, however severe weather forced the event organisers to reschedule. 

The newly-rescheduled event will also no longer be taking place at the showground due to scheduling conflicts. 

Instead, the relay will take place on Walker Park, and the theme will be “Summer”.
