The event will begin at 10.45am and attending will be the Amateur Beekeepers Association (ABA) of NSW.
YABA secretary Rodney Ferguson said the aim of the event was to raise awareness among the general population about the importance of bees.
“It’ll promote discussions and education about the keeping the health of bees and how they contribute to the overall ecosystem, as well as containing swarms and the likes.
“It’s always been front and centre,” he said.
Mr Ferguson, who has been a beekeeper for about two years, said the event also aims to increase YABA’s memberships.
“The event’s open to the public so anyone interested can visit,” Mr Ferguson said.
ABA NSW president Bruce White will perform a hive split on the day.
