What’s going on with the annual Irish music festival?

The annual Turning Wave Festival has been replaced with the Irish and Celtic Musical Festival for 2018.

The tagline is ‘Join the craic in Yass’.

Organiser Janno Scanes it meant music and having good and fun times.

The local committee announced that this new look music festival was supported by The Irish Embassy and professional performers.

When and what will be happening?

To be held Friday to Sunday, September 14–16, the music festival will include related arts of dance and poetry.

Why the change?

The committee believe this event will make Yass a destination in NSW.

Many genres of music will be performed, catering to all abilities, in beautiful venues.

It will be a cultural event, including a Celtic Market at Banjo Paterson Park.

How may you help?
