This year’s first match will be at Walker Park, and the Magpies will face off against the Valley Dragons, who will be looking to improve on last year’s performances.
The Yass side will go into the clash with boosted confidence, as several of their players are fresh from representing the Canberra Region Rugby League side in a clash against the Riverina last month.
Gabrielle Suckling, Logan Davis, Emily Banks, Taylor Frost, and Jess Howard (who has sat out this year’s league season to focus on her union feats), will all be brimming with confidence following their impressive call-ups.
The match between the Yass Magpies and the Valley Dragons will take place on Walker Park from 7:30pm Friday April 27.
