As seen on Broadway, the musical follows your favourite family, Morticia, Gomez, Fester, Wednesday, Pugsley, Grandma and Lurch.
Wednesday Addams has finally found love, with Lucas Beineke.
Fester and the Addams’ ancestors look to wreak havoc when Lucas’s parents come to meet the Addams family.
The show has something for everybody – romance, drama and comedy.
Everybody has been working very hard to put the play together.
Everybody has been working very hard to put the play together.
Teachers and students have been working on sets, costumes and music.
After school rehearsals, holiday practices and early morning early morning starts are all part of the hard work for our dedicated actors.
Students from years 7-12 star in the show.
Finn Dunn, who stars as Pugsley Addams, says that he has enjoyed the experience of being part of the production because he has made new friends and been able to pursue his passion for acting without having to travel to Canberra or Sydney to do it.
Finn says that audiences who come to see the show will enjoy a funny script and great performances.
It’s not all about the people on the stage, though.
This year at the school, entertainment began as a VET course for students in years 11 and 12.
They are able to learn about the technical operations and behind-the-scene aspects of stage production, including sound and lighting.
Tickets are sale on now at the high school. Performances run from May 23-25.
Students will also be selling them at the Rotary Club Street Stall, corner of Meehan and Comur streets on Saturday, May 19.
