It was the perfect place to be as the temperatures continue to drop leading into winter.
Volunteers included members at Yass Hospital Auxiliary and Yass High School students.
The event raised more than $1600 with roughly 100 people attending.
The raffle was won by Maree Firth.
Kind sponsors of the event who donated goods or services were Tanks Bakery, Yass Milk Supplies, Waffle-On Coffee Van, Six8 Coffee, Woolworths, IGA Yass, McDonalds Yass.
This year is the 25th time the annual event has been held and it is one of Cancer Council’s biggest fundraisers.
