Livestock Feeding information session: South East Local Land Services, Yass Soldiers Club, 86 Meehan St. Information session on supplementary and full hand feeding strategies during winter. The session will cover: nutritional requirements of stock, feeding stock - how much and when, feeding in containment paddocks, pasture considerations, animal health considerations, assistance available. Winter Solstice Bonfire: Celebrate the shortest day of the year at the 11th annual Winter Solstice Bonfire at Yarrh Wines, 440 Greenwood Road, Murrumbateman, including tastings in the cellar and canapes. Tickets: $30/$15 for drinks/food; bonfire only, free. Half of all proceeds will go to the Yass River Nanima Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade shed extension. Bookings required: 6227 1474.

Yass Winter Fair: Cooma Cottage, 756 Yass Valley Way, Marchmont, 11am-3pm. Cart rides, Clydesdales and more. A number of stall and display have been confirmed, including historical displays, hot drinks, art and craft and gifts and collectables. Stall enquiries: 0412 338 353.
Rump’n’Red Theatre Night: 6.30pm, Binalong Hall, $50 per person. (pay at the door). Ticket includes rump steak, bottle of red wine (between two), dessert and entertainment from the Binalong Players, plus music from the Undercover Nuns. RSVP by June 16 to Binalong Post Office or Ben on 0432 118 846.
