Well, in the case of the Yass Valley Business Chamber, the answer is a massive “YES”.
Following my three years as president of the Yass Valley Business Chamber, I have taken a moment to marvel at the wonderful community of business people we have who see the value in sharing, collaborating, encouraging – at the same time as growing individual businesses that are successful, profitable and competitive.
I am delighted to hand over to the new president, Brad Davis, an outstanding contributor to the Business Chamber and, with his Yass Valley Tyre Service, the 2017 “Excellence in Small Business” winner at last year’s Yass Valley Business Awards – and state finalist.
New vice president, Andrew Curlewis, is also award winner as his company, Yass Valley Property, won the “Outstanding Employer of Choice” award last year. With excellent secretary Tim Dyke and treasurer Jennifer Lang continuing in their important roles, and with Cath Williams, Brooke Watson and George Southwell elected as committee members, the Yass Valley Business Chamber is in excellent hands.

I encourage all the Yass Tribune Readers to make the most of the excellent businesses – and business community – we have across the Yass Valley.
And I can’t let my last column go by without a reminder that a Yass Valley Gift Card is an outstanding gift to buy for anyone, anytime.
