The car rolled, shattering the windscreen, and came to a stop on the grass next to the road. The driver and passenger left the vehicle uninjured.
Yass Police Inspector Alison Brennan said there was no indication that offences such as speeding had been committed, however, there were no witnesses to the event.
Ms Brennan said that the roads had been wet that morning.
Binalong residents say the place where the ute crashed is a known black spot, with the speed dropping from 100 to 60 before entering the village.
Locals would like a road guard put in place in the area to increase safety.
Ms Brennan said that police had received information from residents that there was an issue.
She said, “Yass Valley Council has increased signage in the area and we are currently looking at other solutions to work with the community on making the roads safer.”
