“Join the craic,” meaning good times, fun and friendship, from September 14-16. Irish and Celtic poets, musicians and dancers will perform across the weekend at Lovat Chapel, Soldiers Memorial Hall, Trader & Co, Yazzbar, Thyme to Taste and all the hotels.
There will also be Celtic markets (Banjo Paterson Park, 10am-4pm, Sunday September 16), dancing and music workshops.
Special guest Geraldine Brosnan is travelling from Ireland with her husband Neil for the event and will be playing flute, whistle and concertina and teaching the Junior Fleadh. Young students will learn traditional music and dance and perform at Lovat Chapel on Sunday evening.
Early bird tickets are $85 and give wristband entry to all of the events and activities across the weekend. There are also individual tickets for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday and All Stars Community Concert at the Memorial Hall on Saturday night.
