The students and staff dressed in blue and brought along gold coin donations to go towards the fundraising efforts to aid drought affected farmers.
The whole school prayed for rain and raised $636 for drought relief.
At the instigation of year one teacher Prue Jervis and Religious Education Co-ordinator Warren Ziebowski, the school was joined in simultaneous prayer by a number of other schools from across the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn and from as far away as Toowoomba.
Schools in that region of Queensland will be holding their own simultaneous prayer services in the coming weeks and raising further funds for drought relief.
